(November 08, 2007) Chamber music has always played an important part in Lisa's schedule, with invitations from festivals such as Edinburgh, Aldeburgh, Marlboro, Tanglewood, Saratoga, Schleswig Holstein, Schubertiade and Kuhmo. Meanwhile, Lisa's commitment to new music is evidenced by two world premieres during 2006: a double concerto for violin, oboe and chamber orchestra by Nicholas Bacri, with the Munich Chamber Orchestra for Alte Opera Frankfurt and with Tapiola Sinfonietta; and Magnus Lindberg's violin concerto for Mostly Mozart New York.
